Shipping policy

Phones and emails are answered 10:00am - 3:00pm on  Mondays and 9:15am - 3:00pm / Tuesday - Friday 

You can send through an email if you are unable to get us on the phone, we are often busy serving customers.

We deliver products using Australia Post and Couriers (Aramex - previously Fastway).  Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the products you are ordering and your location.  Exact shipping costs are calculated in the ‘shopping cart’, and will be added to your Order total before checkout.  Orders are dispatched within 2 business days.  Shipping times estimated at between 2 and 10 business days, depending on your location.

Where is my Order?

Your order may take up to 10 business days for delivery depending on the destination and how far it is from Maroochydore.  Capital cities (on the East Coast) will usually be delivered within 3 business days unless stock is unavailable.

How do I know if my Order has been received?

You will receive an email from Sunshine Confectionery Outlet detailing your order has been processed and another to advise when it has been processed and shipped with tracking numbers so you can track your Order.

Can I pick up my Order, rather than have it shipped?

If you live on the Sunshine Coast or surrounds, you are most welcome to come into our Store and purchase your items.  Our Store Hours are –

Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 4.00pm
Friday 8.30am – 3.30pm
Saturday 9.00am – 1.00pm

What happens in hot weather? 

Heat is the enemy of chocolate!  All of the products we ship leave our warehouse in perfect condition.  So to ensure that your Order arrive safely and intact, Sunshine Confectionery Outlet may delay the shipment if we are experiencing extreme heat.

We have Heat Protection Foam Boxes available when you go through Checkout, which you can purchase to protect your Chocolate Items.  If you choose not to purchase our Heat Protection pack and your order arrives melted, Sunshine Confectionery cannot be held liable.

Also, if you place an Order on a Friday, we may delay shipping the products until the following Monday, ensuring your perishable goods don’t sit in a delivery depot over the weekend.

Remember that chocolate starts to melt in temperatures over 22C.  Don’t organise for your Order to be delivered to your home if it is going to sit on a doorstep exposed to the elements all day.  Maybe have your Order delivered to your work address.

Do you ship outside Australia?

Orders placed through our Website can only be delivered to addresses within Australian States and Territories.  However you may contact us if you have a special request for an overseas delivery.

Returns

Please choose carefully.  We do not normally give refunds, if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.  Your satisfaction is our first priority at Sunshine Confectionery Outlet

You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit where goods are faulty, have been wrongly described, are different to the product purchased on the website. 

All returns are subject to us being notified within 1 day of receiving your purchase.  Items must be returned in their original packaging and, unless they were damaged prior to you receiving them, must still be in an unused and saleable condition. 

If the product has been damaged in anyway, we will need to have a photograph of the damaged item sent through to us.  Please do not throw anything away until speaking with us, without photographic evidence there will be no refund, in many cases the Product will need to be returned to us.

If your Order arrives melted and you have not chosen to have it sent in a Heat Protection Pack, Sunshine Confectionery cannot be held responsible for replacing the items.

Returns Process

To return an item, Please contact us as soon as possible - within 24 hours of receiving your Parcel

Please have the following information –

  • Your Order number if known (appears on the top of the confirmation email)
  • Your name and address
  • A description of the item you are returning
  • If you wish to exchange it for a different item, please specify the item)
  • Returning the item because you have changed your mind, the postage cost is incurred by the customer.
  • If the item is damaged, we will need to see photographic evidence and the product will need to be returned to our Warehouse.  Sunshine Confectionery will cover the postage cost, once the item has arrived back to our Warehouse.
  • If your Chocolate items have melted and you did not purchase a Heat Protection Foam Box, this cannot be Refunded or Replaced.
